message 1: by Reading Rachel (new)

Reading Rachel I just got to the part where they broke up and his solo album came out and she talks about getting Boo'd while attending sporting events with her family... WOW! He was a dick back then! Hopefully they both grew up and moved forward in life, with her being able to forgive him for all the crap he caused her to go through and him realizing he was a dick to her...

message 2: by Super (new)

Super Amanda Well, remember, she lost a third of her life. And she specifically says she doesn’t want to talk about a decade and almost a half because it’s too horrifying

message 3: by Lorra (new)

Lorra He was a jerk but don't forget how young they were - no boy knows how to deal with that sort of thing properly. Even a grown man barely does.

BAM doesn’t answer to her real name Her statements remind me a bit of that chick who wrote I’m glad my mom died I think it’s called? Both of these ladies were run into the ground with a steel tip boot. I’ve completely blacked out a bout a decade and a half of my life so I find it completely understandable but it sure takes a lot of in-depth counseling to work it out that is if you even want to at this point. I think with Britney she had no one looking out for her best interests or any interests at all at times. As for Justin we just need to stop feeding him our money and see how he feels about that

message 5: by Lisa of Troy (new)

Lisa of Troy I completely agree that this book was a bit surface level information. When she was being held at rehab for months against her will, I was surprised that she never mentioned trying to get ahold of Sam who presumably she was dating at the time.

message 6: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Yes, F you Justin indeed

message 7: by Laura (new)

Laura Love this review!

message 8: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany Omg yes, fk Justin Timberlake!! Thought the same thing haha

message 9: by Sophia (new)

Sophia Palucci 100% agree with everything you’ve said

message 10: by Aigul (new)

Aigul Totally agree with you . I so dislike Justin Timberlake, since I heard what he done to Britney Spears. He has appearance of a not genuine and slimy person

message 11: by Christina (new)

Christina Renaud

message 12: by Heather (new)

Heather Neeley I’m a sorry but Fk Keven Federline! Justin did her wrong but they were practically kids. Not an excuse for him but why is no one discussing Kevin???? He did nothing for her but leave her out on the street begging to see her children! And he still is the problem, so terrible!

message 13: by Maggie (new)

Maggie Agree completely!! A lot of things were glossed over, but perhaps that's all she felt comfortable sharing.

message 14: by Romona (new)

Romona Hunter Yes, thank you! JT F OFF. Even though, she recently apologized for writing in her book, I wouldn’t! He was selfish and distasteful how he just dumped her the way he did and so many other things. Young love sucks!

message 15: by Channelle (new)

Channelle Hell yeah, BOMBASTIC SIDE EYE @ Justin Timberface. I love Britney and I loved this book.

message 16: by Ina (new)

Ina I'm at 1/3 of the book right now and omg this is just hanging there at the back of my mind FU JT. What an a$$whole!

message 17: by Amanda (new)

Amanda I find it interesting that the media and so many people are concentrating on the JT aspect of this book when it was such a small part. It seemed after reading to the concentration of her horrible life and anger was directed to her parents and Kevin and yet no one is talking about that,

message 18: by Marcelle (new)

Marcelle Hahaha the JT comment made me laugh.

message 19: by Christopher (new)

Christopher Cooper Rachel wrote: "I just got to the part where they broke up and his solo album came out and she talks about getting Boo'd while attending sporting events with her family... WOW! He was a dick back then! Hopefully t..."
Her family treated her horrible as well. Most people appear to give them a pass. Bless her heart.

message 20: by Heather (new)

Heather This is ridiculous. He was a speck in her life. He didn't do anything terrible, just NORMAL relationship crap for people that age. They were children! You should be saying Fuck the Media, they are the ones who dragged her through the mud. If Taylor can write songs about her exes, anyone can. Get over it. Move on.
So many people were worse to her, they actually ruined her life, let's be grown up and focus our anger on them. SMH.

message 21: by Chris (new)

Chris Myers I agree and this isn't the first time a woman was institutionalized in that jurisdiction for not working in the entertainment industry. JT needs to understand his part in her pregnancy and pain she felt and accept his share of the responsibility.

message 22: by Shayla (new)

Shayla Sherwood Liked at your opening line then proceeded to read the review!

message 23: by Karaaaa (new)

Karaaaa Best review!

message 24: by Angela (new)

Angela Shepro Yes! FU JT and the paparazzis. This was truly an eye opening read! I feel so bad that she had to go through all of this!

message 25: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca Keppler Can we remember JT was just a kid at this point brain not fully developed. Had he changed? Idk but the real issue with this book are the adults who were supposed to protect her
