Suanne Wright

Leads into several spin off series that are all combined.

And

Shelly Laurenston has a Pride series that’s great

Laurann Dohner has the Mating Heat series

And Kresley Cole has a plethora of lycan stories in her Immortals After Dark series: they are all on my audiobook because Robert Petkoff is one of the best, if not #1 narrator of all time,

A few YA that I love Quinn Loftis 'The Grey Wolves'

packpackpack
Beautiful,
Lyrical,
Queer AF
Heart wrenching and heartwarming,
Angsty AF AND funny,
Found family, and blood ties
Manipulation,
Betrayal,
Action packed,
Witches with magical tattoos
Small town setting
Let's all sleep in a pile
And Ox. Ox owned my heart from page 1.
epic and awesome

UNIQUE,
Wolves who change into (human) skin for survival only,
Bestial in nature
Human Behaviours teacher = a lot of humour!!! And she gets her HEA too.
'First shoes' also = lots of humour!
Female alphas,
Packs within The Pack,
Norse-style mythology,
Rural, off-grid setting,
Disabled characters,
Shifters vs 'Wolves',
Bottom-of-the-pack wolves prove their worth and get their HEAs too,
Redemption of a 'spoilt princess'
Very few human characters
Bittersweet...

Thrown to the Wolves

I liked the entire series but I always warn people that the author kills off one of the couples she gave a happy ending to later on in the series. I'm still angry about it.

No, she doesn't kill them off in the same novel. Each book in the Wyndham werewolf series is a happy ever after for a different couple.
But she eventually does a cross over with her vampire series (Queen Betsy) and she kills off one of the couples. I know lots of fans were angry about it.
Derik's Bane is safe. The couple is fine and nobody gets murdered.

Love this one!

Great series with a slightly different storyline. Its a different take on becoming a werewolf. Plus there are some GREAT sex scenes.

Examples:
-Shifters Unbound By: Jennifer Ashley
- Dark Series By: Christine Feehan
a little more racey one:
Breeds Series By: Lora Leigh

Fave in 2022

YA

Just read the 1st one and I loved it

✅ Shifter romance
✅ Enemies-to-lovers
✅ Slow burn 🔥
✅ Forced proximity / isolated location
✅ Mysterious storyline

It was also very steamy yet romantic at the same time. She loves Star Wars. He has never seen the movies. So they watch them together. He goes out and buys a bunch of Star Wars stuff so they can watch the next movie together.

It's set in Australia but, to me, had a Twilight setting feel to it. Good stuff.

Have you read any of the Dark In You series by Suzanne Wright? Not wolves, but SO good. Better than Phoenix and Mercury, IMO. She also has a new series Devil’s Cradle that is amazing!

Yes in Cry Wolf

It's also one of my favourite shifter series, as is Moon Called
