That is disappointing. I know I had DNF one book. I know the author is Christian (speaking about someone else) but the way she wrote her story claiming to be biblical retelling in dark fantasy, I DNF at 53% I was forcing myself to push through but instead I’m making myself miserable and sick in stomach. I was 🙁 So I understand the feeling though when an author claimed this book to be Christian fiction but the content wise not sure about that.
I appreciate this feedback tremendously! The copy/version Aryauna received was an ARC read. Since sending out, the language has been scrubbed and no longer contains any profanity. The characters mentioned using such language are not Christian--hence the use of foul language. The reality, however, is that some Christians do use crude language. I tried to keep my characters as "real" & "raw" as possible. Nonetheless, I believe my next works do indeed reflect the true nature of being a Christian novelist. I hope y'all stick around to check them out! Big hugs & bigger love.
