Sorry for your hatred of my book and my opinions. As you know from reading the book, it wasn't obvious to readers that 'Charley' was heavily fictionalized and full of deceit. After my articles and my hateful book came out, btw, 'Charley's' publisher had to change its introduction to alert readers that what they were about to read was not a true or honest account. Scholars never noticed -- or cared to share the truth. For 50 years. All of this drama, and a true tour of 2010 America, are in my hate-filled book.
