The book description sounds misleading!
I meant to say, "The main character, Darya, was struggling to to make her marriage work with her husband, David, a man who was basically only loving in the notes and letters HE wrote.", not "SHE wrote."
Anyway, yes, unless I missed something the book didn't seem to
match it's description. I think it had potential, it just didn't quite make it for me.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback. I’m glad to hear that you appreciated the core themes of the book. While I understand that the pacing and certain aspects of Darya’s journey didn’t fully resonate with you, the emotional struggles she faces in her marriage were intended to reflect a real, complex experience that many can relate to. I appreciate your perspective, and thanks again for reading and sharing your honest opinion.
Thank you for reading Forever, Now and sharing your thoughts. I’m glad you found the story engaging. Just to clarify, Darya is introduced by her husband David as Muslim due to assumptions made by others because she’s from Iran, but she is actually an atheist. This misunderstanding is part of the story, though religion wasn’t a central theme. I appreciate your feedback and will definitely keep it in mind for future projects. Thanks again for sharing your perspective!
