Mathew Walker Hello Lozzle, thanks for the feedback. The book was looked over by a couple of friends but I see some things were missed. It’s a shame your review contained some spoilers to the plot. And while you state you loathe to berate a writer, you went into quite some detail. I think you enjoyed yourself there. If it makes you feel a little better for your sister some of the money from the book sales is being donated to a charity for complex disabilities. I can assure you I wasn’t ’Trolling’ anyone, I found that comment a bit cruel.

Have a nice 2025 and I hope you enjoy your next read.

Lozzle_pops Hi Mathew - thanks for the response. I certainly didn't mean to be cruel so I've removed the last line from my review. My thinking there was that there were just so many typos that it honestly felt intentionally careless.

I also completely forgot to check the spoilers box so this has now been done. Apologies for that.

I'm obviously really pleased to hear that some of the money is going to a charity, but this wasn't mentioned anywhere in the copy I received so I had no way of knowing that this was the case.

Good luck with your future endeavours.

Jenna Earnshaw Hate to admit it but I wholeheartedly agree with this review. The level of typos, spelling mistakes, and nonsensical sentence structures were a distraction. But even without the distractions I don’t feel I could enjoy it. Maybe I missed something as I was getting tired reading it but I’m still not entirely sure who was, and wasn’t, under the witches spell?!
And the changing font sizes really messed with my head. I thought it was of some relevance to the character dynamics but now I feel I was just overthinking and it was poorly published.
I’m glad to support local authors and charities though so it was still something I was happy I tried!
