TheLittleLunarReads Hi my names Sarah.
I’m a book lover and book reviewer I post reviews to both my blog and to my instagram. I usually do an in depth review on my blog. Then a short overview review on my instagram due to word counts. I’m looking at beginning to review videos on my TikTok too. I also post my reviews here on Goodreads and can post to Amazon as well.

I love reading paperback but I’m open to reading PDF and I read on my kindle app. I pretty much read anything but my main go to genres are adult fantasy, YA fantasy, thriller/horror, Adult fiction, fantasy romance and true crime.

Thank you.
Sarah

E.B. Hauk Hi, Sarah,

I wanted to know if you'd be interested in getting an ARC for my upcoming psychological horror, dark comedy, and drama novel, The Perilous Awakening of Johnny Hazard. I've attached the synopsis and some notes below.

Synopsis: 1986--OSU assistant coach Johnny Hazard is a man who has everything: the woman of his dreams, a recently remodeled Dutch Colonial home, and a budding Benadryl habit. But when his wife, Janet, leaves him to "find herself," Johnny's Benadryl abuse grows out of control, and his nightmares follow him into the daylight. Reality melts, and he's introduced to the world behind the world, meeting a cast of wayward characters who know what he knows, and offer a safe harbor from the storm of his life. But Johnny craves terror, and his downward spiral tightens as he examines a growing sickness within society and himself.

The Perilous Awakening of Johnny Hazard is a deconstruction of the every man dedicated to the horrors of human existence, isolation, self-loathing, and everything we keep hidden. The supernatural terrors that haunt his step mirror his internal struggles. Watch a human dumpster fire in action.

Note: Some readers may find the content matter to be shocking, but it isn't gratuitous or gory, and nothing in it is done for shock's sake. Our main character's actions are symptomatic of his emotional illiteracy and desperate need for a genuine connection as his life implodes and his inner demons come home to roost. Mental health, sexuality, gender-identity, codependency, and loneliness are all themes. Even the impacts of Reaganism are briefly examined.

Content Warnings: Some (Non-Graphic) Sex, Swearing, Drug Use, Addiction, Brief Mention of Suicide

If you're interested, DM me or reply to me here and I can send you a download link.

C.W. Lovatt Hi, Sarah,

I’m looking for reviews for my latest book, “Yuri & the Pig” (87,000 words published by Wild Wolf Publishing), a work of fiction based on the current war in Ukraine. However, the countries involved are fictitious, too.

Amazon link: https://mybook.to/ynp

The following is the blurb:

“From the best-selling author of the Charlie Smithers adventures.

A farmer and his pig set off on an extraordinary quest across war-torn Eastern Europe.

Entangled in a savage war, the country of Xoraina is fighting for its very existence; but to Yuri, a simple peasant from a remote mountain village, it seems all but certain that the invading Zlaimperians must ultimately prevail. Not that it is of any consequence to him, of course. In Yuri’s view, every form of government is equally bad, so it makes very little difference who holds the reins of power. Indeed, throughout time, the only things that have ever really mattered are that the soil be tilled, the cows milked, and the pigs shipped to market, all in a timely fashion.

But when an exorbitant new tax threatens that philosophy, he sets off with his pig across the war-ravaged land to the Capital in order to fight the injustice. In the process, their journey becomes a road to a terrible enlightenment, causing Yuri to question his deeply seated beliefs. But only when he and his pig find themselves placed squarely in destiny’s path is there any hope of those questions finding answers.”

If interested, please contact me at clovatt@xplornet.ca and I’ll arrange for you to receive an e-copy in the format you prefer.

Thank you for your time.

Lux Lucerne Hiya Sarah!

I'm a small indie author writing a cozy fantasy adventure series, Cafe Luna Seasons of Adventure. I've got two novels and one short story I'm looking to get more reviews for!

You can check them out here on my goodreads profile:

https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

-------------
Here's some of the core ideas and elements of my works:

The series is set in the fantasy world Lumos, filled with monsters and magic born from will. Adventurers are commonplace, a flashy bunch of dream chasers, that will take on quest commissions ranging from hunting monsters, to finding items, and even mundane tasks. Though often noble in heart, they won't work for free---for it is through making deals and exchanging rewards for services that client and adventurer acknowledge each other in fairness.

The slice of life elements focus on romance, food, and pets. For the romance aspect, I wanted to write about a couple being in a relationship, rather than just the typical process of falling in love. My books explore them trying to communicate and understand each other, moments of tender love and compassion, supporting each other through hardship, and overall accepting one another for who they are.

Food is something that can carry a lot of memories of the past with it, reminding us of simpler, happier times. It's also something that brings people together in the present. Dining together is a mundane yet profound act. Through doing so, we can share memories of the past with each other, helping us to understand one another and form bonds, even elevating the food itself. Food also gives us the strength to face tomorrow, paving the way for future generations, our ways of life passed down---our spirits kept alive in memory.

Then pets... they're our fluffy friends filled with big personalities! They can be very simple, yet there is much we can learn about life from them.

Send me a private message if you're interested and I can provide my email address to discuss things further!

Thanks for your consideration!

Prelude of Fire: The Gailean Quartet, Book 1

Hello there!! I'm an author of a YA epic fantasy series. Previously published, but I had to leave the publisher last year due to an unfortunate negative experience. So, like my characters, I'm on a quest! I'll be republishing later this year and am questing for early readers for my ARC for Book 1, Prelude of Fire.

Prelude of Fire has found family, a good vs. evil quest, emotional twists and turns, and elemental and musical magic. One reader says it's like "if Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings had a baby."

ARC is available in PDF, Epub, and Mobi.

If you're interested in helping me out, drop a comment or message me here directly. I appreciate any help I can get for a successful relaunch. Thanks for considering!

Here's the blurb to help you decide if you're interested:

A desperate mission. Sinister sorcery. Can she find the seven prism shards to stop the world from being destroyed?

Ashlai, a young Fyre mage who can harness powers of flame from the sun, yearns to know about her kin. Her adoptive elven father refuses to let her travel abroad with her brother, and she despairs of ever knowing who she really is. But when the new king’s vicious spell attacks her forest home, she flees toward that unknown past—and an uncertain destiny—guided only by the strange melody in her head and a piece of broken prism.

Determined to save the land from the enchanted drought burning everything in its path, Ashlai searches for six other magical fragments to overthrow the ruthless king. With the help of a shape-shifting thief, two squabbling bards, and a snarky water elf, she races toward a perilous confrontation…and a life-changing truth.

Can Ashlai fight fire with fire to defeat the devastating spell before it consumes the entire land? And can she survive the secrets she discovers without losing her new friends, her family, and even herself?

Prelude of Fire is the thrilling first book in The Gailean Quartet YA epic fantasy series. Featuring a diverse cast, high-stakes quests, and music melded with magic, you’ll love Schulze’s emotional journey.

Read Prelude of Fire to ignite destiny today!

Marisette Burgess Hi Sarah,

Thanks for reviewing books!

Would you be interested in a Vampire Dark Romance?

My eBook launches March 24th. Salvation by Blood
Salvation By Blood: Part 1 & 2

I'm looking for ARC readers to provide an honest review on goodreads, Amazon, and any social media.

You can message me your email through goodreads or at mb@marisetteburgess.com and I can send over an ePub copy.

Here is the synopsis:
Skylar by no means had the perfect life- but she was free. Until the night vampires broke into her apartment and snatched her. Now, she finds herself in a real life hell, the kind horror movies are made of. She’s gifted to a vampire lord to serve as his pet, but only for a week. Three certainties exist. He will take her blood, take her body, then take her life.

Demarkus Osei, Lord of his clan, is obliged to attend the 20th Vampiric Centennial Conclave. A task he loathes. For one week, he’s given a human to fulfill his duty to his family. But this year there is something different about his slave. Aside from the fact that he and every vampire at the Conclave find her blood mouthwatering, she’s unique. There’s an inescapable pull. He can’t quite put his finger on it, but the urge to protect her, to spare her from pain, is overwhelming. But he’s a vampire. His thirst and hunger must be sated.

As Skylar and Demarkus navigate through his basic vampiric cravings, they can’t ignore the cruel reality of their situation, their inner monsters, or the looming end of their time together. This once rational, put-together lord, now finds himself making rash illicit decisions, to spare her and himself from pain. Will he choose to follow what is demanded, resulting in her demise, or will he defy every vampiric decree?

My new twist on vampiric folklore won't disappoint as it seamlessly weaves a Beauty and the Beast trope into the rich tapestry of a vampire love story. Skylar and Demarkus’ slave/master relationship keeps the reader wanting more as she tries desperately to keep the vampire’s needs under control while he fights his urge to not fall in love.

Thanks again!

Michelle, The Book Critic Hi Sarah,

I’m a book reviewer just like you, but I would like to forward a review opportunity from my author friend, Loris Owen. You can contact her at hello@lorisowen.com

She is currently working on the US edit of her middle-grade literary fiction novel, 'The Ten Riddles of Eartha Quicksmith', published in the UK by Firefly Press. It's clean fiction, is a fantasy action adventure for fans of Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter, and has been described as "Big Hero 6 meets Gravity Falls"!

Puzzles and riddles encourage critical thinking, and teamwork, empathy, family and friendships are important throughout. You can find out more at www.quicksmiths.com.

As she’s self-publishing in the US with no author presence there, and only has a small budget to do this, I'm really keen to help to spread the word to other reviewers!

She can send you a copy of the UK print (whether you are based in the UK or US) any time. The US print version won't be available for another month or so as she is still finalising illustrations and final touches.

If you interested, please email Loris at hello@lorisowen.com! Let her know if you'd like the UK print or prefer to wait for the US print :)

If you are not based in the UK or US, let her know as well. I’m not entirely sure if she ships internationally, but you can always check! Her ebook will be ready to share in a few more weeks as well.

Robert Cottreau Hi, Sarah. Thank you for your kind offer.
My psychological horror, The Station Master of New Brook West, follows Colden as he seeks to escape a tragic past by accepting the job of station master in a remote location. The community's residents and history aren't what they seem and he finds himself drawn into a mystery populated with ancient cemeteries, cryptic historical documents, ghostly apparitions, grim-faced locals, enigmatic companions, and Colden's own paranoia and insecurities in a gloomy environment shrouded in both grey fog and eerie happenings.
Loneliness and solitude are recurring themes throughout the story with strong relatable characters and clever dialogue guiding the reader through a first-person narrative mixed with occasional flashbacks.
I would be most grateful if you could please provide me with a review as I am a self-published first-time author. I'll do my best to get you the format that is your preference.
Thank you.
Robert..

Mary Dear Sarah!

Are you interested in memoir/autobiography books to review? I am on a quest to get 500 book reviews and I could use your help!

You'll probably enjoy reading my story if you’re a Jeannette Walls and Esmeralda Santiago fan. My memoir is ‘When I was Puerto Rican’ meets ‘The Glass Castle’.

“Running in Heels: A Memoir of Grit and Grace” is the journey of a coming-of-age Puerto Rican girl seeking love and security with her difficult mother in an impoverished home who becomes a teenage bride to a ruthless man twice her age. She has her first child at seventeen and her fourth at twenty-two. Can she overcome insurmountable obstacles of poverty, racism, alcoholism, violence, and abandonment while hope is shattered time after time?

I wrote this book to show that contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be a product of your environment. Your past does not define who you are.

If you're interested, I can shoot over a digital copy in hopes that if you enjoy it, you'd be willing to share an honest review.

Colleen Hi Sarah,

I am releasing a YA Suspense Book on 9/5 and would love to send you an ARC. I have mine set up through Book Funnel.

Here is a synopsis of Stolen Colleen Bergquist

A hidden newspaper article. A teen girl who has an eerie resemblance to a toddler whose kidnapping remains unsolved.

As the only child of a single mother, thirteen-year-old Emma McKay has never attended school, had friends, or been allowed to visit public places. She has moved more times than she can remember, and has no pictures of herself as a child. But it isn’t until she discovers a newspaper article tucked away in a file marked personal that she begins to question who she is and begins to wonder Is she living a secret life?

How far will she go to discover the truth?

With lots of questions and no one she can ask, she decides she must take matters into her own hands and runs away to try to find out the truth.

Alone in a strange city, she finds herself unprepared for the challenges and setbacks she will face as she tries to keep anyone from finding her and seeks help from the police who refuse to believe her.

The choices she makes could alter people’s lives forever

An unexpected ally will step in to help Emma, but will it be in time, or will she be forced to return to the only life she has known with a woman who might not be her mother without getting the answers she needs?

This gripping young adult suspense book can be read by upper elementary-aged children through adults. It is the first book in a trilogy about a girl’s search for her true identity.

Please let me know if you are interested and I will get an ARC to you! Thanks for considering my book.

Iva Dimitrova Hello,
A few days ago, I published my first book. I hope it catches your interest—the genre is contemporary fiction, psychological literary fiction. I would be delighted if you're willing and able to take a look at it, and even more so if you enjoy it and write a review. I can provide you with a copy through Prepaid eBook from Amazon, or if you use Kindle Unlimited, it's available for free.

The title of the book is "I didn't mean to, but...". It is a story about redemption and the unpredictable repercussions of even the smallest choices. A novel blending elements from various genres, interwoven with social and philosophical themes that explore the enigmatic nature of humanity. The characters, driven by circumstances and personal ambitions, reach the limits of their mental resilience and belief in the healing of their emotional wounds. The fates of these unyielding, complex personas are entwined in a dynamic and multilayered plot. Drawn by their desires towards a stormy confrontation with a domino effect, each faces difficult, life-affirming choices and undergoes their own personal catharsis.
The story is set in Bulgaria, and although it doesn't directly and comprehensively address the topic, the effects of the transition from communism to democracy—marked by the rise of corruption and criminal groups—are reflected in the narrative and characters. These influences have already left a mark on the national psyche.

Thanks in advance!

Blurb:
What do accidental stalking, panic attacks, and landscaping have in common?

Everly’s life is exactly as it should be, until her estranged sister comes back to town the same day Asim Jabbar knocks on her door, nearly knocking Everly off her slipper-clad feet and her anxious heart right out of her chest.

After the flirtiest plant delivery of her life, Everly tries to find her Hot Delivery Guy without becoming a stalker, then digs herself into a hole when she enlists his help re-landscaping her yard. An already immaculate yard that does not need any new plants.

Asim agrees, on one condition: that Everly get her perfectly manicured hands dirty and join him. Despite Asim turning her life upside down, Everly can't stop thinking about the muscular, tattooed plant dad.

But when Asim’s world collapses and past scars threaten their future, Everly doesn’t realize all that Asim has sacrificed for her until it’s too late.

Kanara never meant to kill her mother. A lifetime in prison awaits her. But the judge gives her a break and sentences her to ten years at Zylen Mental Hospital.

At first glance, the hospital isn’t bad. The food is edible, the other patients don’t know about her crime, and Eliot, the intern assigned to her case, is gentle and kind, not to mention gorgeous.

But the hospital has a few secrets of its own.

Like the cryptic message on the wall in Kanara’s room, written in a cipher only she and her sister know.

And the new voice in her head that seems to be able to predict the future.

And the doctors whispering in secret that their experiment is failing, the patients are dying, and they’re all running out of time.
