Catherine Couldn’t agree more.

Adele Buck Alll of this. I think the book truly jumped the shark for me when she's being chased by Cranwell in the haunted house and Fionn catches up to her and SHE LITERALLY DOESN'T TELL HIM WHAT'S GOING ON? Lady, risk your own silly life if that's the way you want to play it, but GIVE OTHER PEOPLE THE INFO THEY MAY NEED TO STAY BREATHING.

Also, I truly hate the Leander voice in the audiobook. I know it's supposed to be unhinged and Joker-like, but it was just grating and I wasn't thrilled to hear him return after book 2, on top of what you said (I was literally muttering, "YOU COULD HAVE CALLED LACHLAN.")

I skipped the epilogues entirely because nah.

ScottishLassie Totally agree. This is the weakest book in the trilogy.

I feel cheated because the Rose and Fionn that had been introduced in books 1 & 2 just didn't live up to my expectations. Saying that, I enjoyed it up until the ridiculous break up and how Rose was the one that was hurt despite everything being her fault.

The rage is real.

I love B&B but the L&L and S&S just didn't have the same spark. Pity
