I just finished this last night and you are spot on with Dorothy and her.. flatness. At one point I yelled at her. Also the chemistry between Ashley and Miles, I thought they must be a couple and that is what we were building toward. Great review! I will read the next but everything you said underscored my feelings. First books of any genre can be the wonky ones so I'm anxiously waiting for the audio of book 2 to release.

Thank you! I am still frustrated with ToS. It was my most disappointing read of 2025. I have downloaded the sequel because sometimes the sequels are better. I hope you have a good experience with it!
