Lit Reader I am super suprised to see you gave this book a 3-star rating, your review matches what I read (horror writing, poor editing, zero sense!), yet you still rate it as a 3-star… may I ask why such generosity???

Ms. Moll is self-published - so which publisher is handling/compromising her reviews? My thought is that YOU are a very disgruntled author who can't get a good review, even if you paid for it. Does it make you feel better to belittle someone's creative effort? Stop trolling all of the reviews for this book and get a life.

Lit Reader @Cat NO, I am not an author, but YOU are (are you personal friends with Heather Moll too, by any chance???)

Good luck discrediting yourself by houding FREE THINKING READERS, and I am surprised you have the time to screen online platforms to see if your author pals are being properly fawned at, or if your free-arc readers are actually dishing out those 5-star reviews they promised — which is it????

Cat Andrews I’m actually no longer an author, but I used to be - and yes, I’ve known Heather for almost 20 years (as I know at least two dozen JAFF authors personally as well). Not sure why that matters? I have absolutely no problem with a reader voicing their opinion in a review - I’ve had my share of negative reviews. Whatever. I couldn’t care less. I just don’t understand why you feel the need to attack readers who like the book, and why you leave nasty comments criticizing them for their opinions? Why is it not okay for someone to like a book that you don’t like? Does it really make you feel that much better to spew all that negativity? Do you think they care at all about how you feel about their review? I feel sorry for you, and every other keyboard warrior who gets off on that kind of stuff. You talk about freethinking readers, and like I said, I have no problem with them. You’re the one coming down on people who are expressing their opinions, simply because it doesn’t coincide with yours. That’s pretty pathetic.

Alioftheroses Darcy was a doormat for Elizabeth to stomp upon, Charlotte was b*tchy, Elizabeth was b*tchier, Jane was non-existent. I did not enjoy this P&P over-the-top feminist rant (especially for the time period). Surely, Elizabeth is a character ahead of her time, but this was too much.
