Sarah It's a good thing I didn't read this one 😅 Great review, Janalyn!! 🥰

Wendy Posten But it's fiction. Many folks think the Bible is fiction. If you were not a believer, would you still give it ONE star? Based on your review, I can't wait to read it. One star is for absolute garbage.

Ursula Werner Thank you for the review, Janalyn. Happy to discuss any issue you might have had about the book, but I will echo Wendy's comment that the book is fiction. Also, that the narrator Magda is extremely angry that she was falsely labeled a whore by the Catholic Church for almost two thousand years. Most people still believe she was. That kind of misinformation, if it was spread about you, could really piss you off.

Nicole Thomas I 100% agree with your review. It was hard to get through this book & it was such a let down. I totally disagreed with the narrative & opinions in this novel. I agree that this is 1 star.

Nicole Thomas Janalyn- I would recommend the Women of Way series by Heather Kaufman- Up From Dust and Before the King. Both books were phenomenal both in writing and portrayal of faithful women of the Bible.

Janalyn, the blind reviewer Nicole thank you I will definitely look those books up I love reading retellings from the Bible and even some nonfiction books about the Bible so thank you so much.

Nicole Thomas You are so welcome! I hope you like them as much as I did!

John Holland I got this vibe from the summary. It was giving blasphemy and mockery, not to mention the leftist political undertones. Not interested and not reading. Thank you!
