Such a classic, strong King opening to the story.

I really like when King writes (tales) with young main characters. Already re-read this one!

The caracteres are amazing 🤓 los personajes son increíbles, como solo Stephen King lo sabe hacer.

I am excited to see how King does fantasy as opposed to horror.

I’m reading Fairytale right now!!! It’s super good so far, I’ve heard mix reviews from different people so I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

The young protagonist's relationship with the grumpy older man reminded me of the relationship in the If It Bleeds story "Mr. Harrigan's Phone." Really well done point of view, interesting characters, and twists and turns. There is some really good epic and often creepy imagery in the fantasy land.

Good solid work, but for some reason, King's more Fantasy oriented work doesn't quite connect with me as much as his horror work. This one included.

I got "The Talisman" vibes from this in the best way. It also reminded me quite a bit of Roland of Gilead, my favorite King character.

I am reading Fairy Tale. I am on page 251. It started out a little slow but it's picking up now. Stephen King is great at creating characters and building worlds. I've read a lot of his books and haven't been disappointed. I don't think I will be on this one either.
