I have obviously come to this post a bit late :-) but I just wanted to say that I truly enjoyed this book. I thought it was very well done.

One of the things I admire about your work is the wide diversity of settings and approaches used, while still retaining a distinctive style.

I was happy to read Dry Essence and find out it was a continuation, of sorts. Another great book, by the way!

Thanks, Erik, for paying me my favorite compliment. And for spending time with my less popular works. I do try hard to mix things up. One marker of success for me, oddly enough, is when people who like reading me reveal there's one book they really didn't like. It's always a different book.
