The addition of your bookliting to our database will automatically create an author page, that you can claim in order to join the GR Author Program.
In order to add your book we need to verify its publication details, in particular the ISBN(s) a/o ASIN.
Your author webpage does not state ISBN, format, page count, (expected) release date...,
Please provide another acceptable link, preferably to the publisher's site, or, alternatively, if you have the book, we can use a scan/photo of your copy of the cover and the page with the publication information, the book's colofon page.
You can upload a scan/photo of your own to the "more photos..." section of your profile: https://www.goodreads.com/photo/new), sectie More photos.. Make sure you state the source of the photo in the text and that your account settings are public (not private).
Hi Emmy, thank you for your response. I am self-publishing the book, so my author website is all I have. The expected release date is already on my website. Please let me know if I need to put the ISBNs on my website as well.All of this information will be on my online bookstore with books.by. They are a print-on-demand company. I am in the middle of proofing my book, so it is not yet on books.by. There is no pre-order option, so my book will not show until I click "publish"
I have googled what a colophon page is and my understanding is that it's the copyright page. Is this correct? I can upload a photo of it in my profile, will this suffice? Or should I just share the link to my books.by page when my book is uploaded. If so, it won't be until the publication date (July 10, 2025). Will this request expire?
Please inform me of the best way to get you the information you need.
@LeiFor the moment it will be sufficient if you add the ISBN-number, the format (does the ISBN belong to the paperback edition?) and the (approx.) page count as extra info on your webpage.
