Great, you experienced exactly the right, intended feeling of the ending, triggered by the plot twist. You are practically experiencing what the people living in the dystopian world of the book feel. I'm also very pleased that you subconsciously recognized the allegory to Trump's USA. In fact, the despair about the catastrophic changes is reflected in the book. Of course I know that, and I’m genuinely so happy with how you received the book! ⭐ From decades of special interest marketing I also know how much those little stars can influence buy decisions. Most people only skim the written reviews and think, “Oh, just 4 stars” and move on to something that shows 5. But honestly, that’s not a problem here at all.
