I am so glad I read the reviews and chose NOT to read this. I love the man, but I feel like he overshared.

I’m so disappointed with this! I was really hoping for a different book
The man had cancer and thought with time on his hands he'd write a few notes about his life (just incase he didn't pull through). That was explained in the book. I found it engaging and humorous. I also watched the movie 'The Dish' which Sam recommended. Fabulous. Sam wrote the book for himself and no doubt his family. He has generously shared his antidotes with us.
This review really enforces the idea that the book is great. Thanks! 🙂
What a crappy (get it?) small minded mean review. Truely the classic literary critic mind set. Must be hilarious at funerals.
