Thanks Clint! I cannot remember if it was my first (I read this decades ago), but it definitely a good place to start with Hogan.
Yeah, when they had collated enough data to pose the central question of the story, I thought of an answer that fit all the data right there. And sure enough, my solution was the same as the book's solution. But the answer, and the discoveries they made since the question was first posed, bring up a host of new, intriguing questions, so I actually really enjoy reading this. I'm looking forward to reading The Gentle Giants of Ganymede.
