Are you talking about To Be or Let it Be , " Flaubert's Guide to Bad Decisions and Worse Lovers " , and " Le Chat Trouve Madame Bovary Trop Humaine " ?
I've heard the first draft of The Gospel According to Saint Luke omitted the Resurrection (Luke thought it was a bit of a deus ex machina), but Saint Matthew persuaded him to change his mind.
Weird, quand-même. No one mentioned Lazarus.
He would already done the resurrection thing. Twice. First time by divine intervention, second time by poor planning. But he died again out of protest.
