Apologies, I think GR hid this comment from me! I'm really glad you enjoyed the edited bits. When I shared them initially via my facebook group, I said I'd decided to put them up without making any changes to them, so there are some bits I wish I'd been able to keep and some that I was happy to get rid of. Overall, I think a happy medium/compromise would have been the best outcome for the book, but no matter, at least you can read them now.

That was excellent timing - I've been sitting on those scenes for years :-) As I said to Jam (just above on this thread) the deleted scenes are there warts and all. I really like some of them and wish I'd been able to keep them, and some were over-indulgent and I was fine to get rid of them. I think the book and the characters are more rounded with the additional scenes, and I prefer this version overall despite its flaws.
