Laura Ruth Loomis I haven't read the Heartstopper: Volume One graphic novels, but the TV series was excellent.

Angie My favourite book, which is getting re-published in January: Her Name in the Sky by Kelly Quindlen.

I can also recommend Sunburn by Chloe Michelle Howarth.

Sasha Wolf I have a few recommendations, although they aren't super recent:

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
Let's Call It a Doomsday
Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova

Dani Weyand I don’t think you can talk teen angst without recommending Ned Vizzini. I had read It's Kind of a Funny Story before he died, and to me it’s the ultimate teen angst book. I haven’t been able to bring myself to read anything else of his, because I feared it’d make me too sad. But I think I’ll go with the aptly titled Teen Angst? Naaah... for this prompt.

Laura Ruth Loomis The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness is a dark comedy that turns the "chosen one" trope on its head. It's about the "other" teenagers in the town that keeps getting attacked by monsters or aliens. They don't want to save the world, they just want to go to prom and graduate without the high school blowing up...again.
