Dito Abbott I tried to add my books correctly but appear to have messed things up.

I uploaded my book to GR myself a week ago after readers asked about it. I entered the ISBN for the ebook version.

Last night, I uploaded my book to KDP. It published this morning, but added a GR page that now has the same ISBN as the version I posted originally.

Can you help me merge these? GR isn't allowing me to change the ISBNs so there is only one copy of the eBook.

If possible, I'd appreciate keeping the version that has reviews on it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

My original book page (with reviews): https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

The new KDP-uploaded book page (no reviews): https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Thank you for your help.
Dito

Bruno Rodrigues The only mistake you made was creating an edition with no (valid) identifier, the first edition here:
https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

As it has more than 5 shelvings atm, you'll have to ask a Super Librarian to delete it, as they are the only ones who can do it.

About ASIN being in Kindle edition and ISBN being in ebook, that is not incorrect. In Amazon, they combine ASIN and ISBN in same edition because they don't sell ebooks, they sell their version of ebook, which is a Kindle edition.

But you can read an ebook (bought at another platform) and it won't be a Kindle edition. Meaning, that ebook will have an ISBN and not an ASIN.

So, having 2 editions, one with ISBN (ebook) and another with ASIN (Kindle) is not incorrect.

About the reviews, all (3) editions are combined, so you won't loose the reviews. When the duplicate is deleted, the reviews will just be transferred to another edition, but they will stay in the book.

So the only thing to be done is deleting the duplicate, and that only Super librarians can do.
