Jaiden Phillips Hey-oh, fellow MG authors! :)
I've already published two MG stories thus far! I love writing MG because this world needs more clean and God honoring stories for kids. Stories that teach kids simple acts of kindness, show them hardship and how to overcome those obstacles. That empower them to be the best they can and to never give up, but also take them on adventures and make them laugh! :D (Also, I write dyslexic friendly stories for people like me!)

Jaiden Phillips Brothers Divided — MG Contemporary:

Blurb:

I’d lived thirteen years without them, I could live my next ninety or so just fine without them too.

Stranded on a ranch in the middle of nowhere with a guy he hates, a cowboy copy of himself, and a crazy collie, Steffen is about as miserable as they come. How could he be anything else when there’s no asphalt for skating and his friends might as well be on another planet. Why his mom thought sending him to spend the summer with Ricardo Alcatraz was a good idea, he’d never know.

Diego never thought the day would come when he’d get to meet his twin brother. He’s always wondered what it would be like, how different they would be and what kind of connection they would share. He never imagined they’d stand face to face, and it’d feel like miles separated them.

They’re brothers divided by an invisible boundary, but this summer in New Mexico may change everything—for Steffen and Diego.

Jaiden Phillips This Gray Canvas — MG Contemporary

Blurb:

Because how did one explain the gray canvas I was trapped in?

Ethan was born into a world of black and white a medical condition known as monochromatic vision, but with one exception—he can see the color green. After moving from the Colorado countryside to New York City, Ethan struggles to adjust to the busy and colorless atmosphere.

When encouraged to join a local art contest by his grandfather and a peppy bookworm named Sophie, Ethan considers it. But when the bullies at school get a hold of his sketchpad, and make fun of his colorless art, Ethan wonders if he has anything worth sharing at all. Because how could anyone understand the gray canvas of his life?

When God suddenly downloaded the plot for my book A Bellwether Christmas into my head one holiday season, I realized quickly that because the main protagonist would be an impulsive, headstrong half-grown male lamb, this was naturally a middle grade book. I was careful to write it using grade appropriate vocabulary lists and uncomplicated sentence structure. Then I discovered that adults loved it. Go figure! If you love farm animals, Christmas, medieval settings and St. Francis of Assisi -- read it on sale now on Kindle then buy a copy for a middle grader at FaithfulText.com (use code Nativity30 for 30% off).
