I am not entirely caught up in this series, but also have heard the term "silly" regarding the latter books, gah. This one is definitely one my tbr tho. Glad to hear of, as you say, his return to form.
Agreed. His latest books are meh to me, including this one which I just finished reading. What a shame since I'm Scalzi's big fan.
