Thanks for the Kobo reminder, Jodi. This book is so important.
A brilliant and passionate review, Betsy. I am waiting impatiently for justice to be served. I, too, wish she had been able to hang on a little longer.

Yes, yes.
A heart-felt, eloquent review. I'm sceptical that most if any of the perpetrators will be brought to justice or even revealed, especially considering who's the US president.

If we never let up, the files will be exposed. Yesterday all the survivors wrote to Congress demanding the newest Dem senator be sworn in to provide the vote to demand that it come to a vote. This is like a slow-motion attempt to kill, but it will not prevail. Everyday I troll the White House TikTok account, demanding release of the Epstein files. Others do this as well. We can never let up and we will prevail.
An excellent review. I am never very optimistic that the powerful abusers will be easily separated from their power, but progress is being made, and this brave memoir is helping that come about. At last, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been ousted from his Royal Lodge. It's about time and good riddance! Hopefully, jail awaits him.

Ditto.
Wonderful review, Betsy!
Just reading your review was hard enough; I may not be able to read the book, but I will buy it and I will try to read it. I hope many others will do so.
These predators MUST be publicly named and must face justice!

The exposure will change the political world. It's that big.
Excellent review, Betsy. And thanks for the information about Bookshop’s ebooks. I’ve only recently learned they sell them though I have used them for books. After the former prince Andrew’s takedown, I’m hopeful that more are in the offing.

Thanks for the comment, Sue, and I agreeing that more people will face consequences.
wonderful review, Betsy - this sounds gruelling read, but so important & you're right about showing support to Giuffre's estate 💛

It leaves you with inspiration to be an activist. The ramifications of these crimes extend all over the globe--to banks, wealthy people who do not believe the law applies to them. I think when the investigation is revealed, we will all lose heroes. They are not limited to to any one party and I cannot wait for the exposure of it all.
Thanks for the heads-up about Bookshop ebooks and Audiobookstore. I had not heard of them and will now buy from them. Bookshop.org also donates to private book sellers, a big plus for me.
