I recently read The Tainted Cup, which is one of my favorite reads of the year, good to hear the sequel could be even better....

This sounds like fantasy done right – rich worldbuilding without losing sight of human depth. Love how you highlighted that balance of darkness and hope.
It was a pleasant surprise. The first one is a bit more dark, iirc.
