K I have this one on my Thriftbooks wish list because your review of Cannery Row made me put them both high up on my TBR. Your thoughts about this one make me really look forward to reading these Steinbeck novels.

Jonathan K (Max Outlier) Agreed on all accounts! The dated film adaptation titled Cannery Row combines both books in the screenplay and stars Nick Nolte and Debra Winger and narrated by John Houston..its a carbon copy of the books which in itself is unique
