I purchased several books by Mark Warren at a lecture he presented to our community. This book I'm reading now is lyrical poetry that makes me stop and dream of his lovely descriptions. It reminds me of my childhood in the woods. Where I always wanted to be, where I discovered that we had native iris in the South Eastern US and how stunned and amazed I was to stumble upon them. I like to read these kinds of writings slowly, to enjoy them all the more.
