I would love more Goodreads friends but with similar tastes. I like a wide variety but I also don't like/don't intend to read certain genres (YA, Romantasy for instance). No judgment; just isn't for me. I enjoy reading contemporary literature, diverse authors, nonfiction and classics. I grew up as a reluctant reader but always found books that captured my soul (Middlesex, Confederacy of Dunces, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, All Fours..).
