It is! The audio book is really entertaining since the narrator does Vera Wong's voice SO well.

I'm going to get this on Audiobook. Thanks!

Thank you, Angela. Yes, what are you waiting for, Series Queen👑
Wonderful review, Darla! 💜 I also read this, though I have still to post my review on Goodreads. I agree with most of your thoughts. It is so funny how everyone treats Vera like an old lady though she's just 61. Eunice Wong is outstanding as the narrator.
If this book features Tiffin towers and TikTok cooking videos, the book itself should come with a complimentary tea sampler, Darla.
Agreed, 60 is not that old, at all! A fab review, Darla, glad this was an enjoyable read for you! 🥰💝
I agree! She comes across as much older in the book as well!
Love these on Audible! Terrific review!
Good to know they got the perfect narrator for Vera! And yes, that cover shot is for an 80 year-old grannie, not a 60 year-old!

Thanks, Rosh. To be fair, Vera herself does like to emphasize her age at times and take advantage of the elderly status.😂

That is a fabulous marketing idea! And a virtual Vera to recommend the perfect tea.🍵

Thanks, Amina. I turned 60 this year and have myself said, "60 is the new 40." You are as young as you feel.🥰

Exactly! Although Vera does milk her age for best effect when convenient.😂
Oh yes, 60 is definitely the new 40. I recently saw photo's of my grandma when she was young. But even at 40 she looked 60 haha. Times have definitely changed.
Cara wrote: "Fantastic review, Darlin Darla💞😘!!!!!!!! I'm glad this book was better than the first💗!!!!!!!!"
Thanks, Cara cutie! It was a fun audio book. That Vera is a hoot!🤣

Ha! I do think we look so much younger these days, but I may be a little biased.😁
You made me LOL when I read that 60 is the new 40. I guess that makes some 20 year olds the new 10s! But then again, if you stay active and don't just do 'old lady' things it helps you stay young, at heart, at least. We knew a 60 year old lady who took martial arts and climbed trees with her grandson. Great review, Darla.

Thanks, Joe. Let's just say the new age rules don't apply until you are over that proverbial hill. Love the sound of that lady you know who still climbs trees. I just rode down a hill in a wagon with my grand. Staying active is where it's at.😎
