Book Incorrectly Attributed - Translucent Traveler - Elle Rushing > Likes and Comments

Hello, I'm a newly published author, and I see that the algorithm has assigned my book to the incorrect author profile. Relevant information below:

Title: Translucent Traveler (Book 1)
Series: Native of Nowhere
My Pen Name: Elle Rushing
ISBN: 978-1-967325-00-9

Because I share a pen name with an author already on Goodreads, the algorithm has incorrectly attributed my book to her author page. Can I please get this moved to a *new* author profile for "Elle Rushing" (using my profile, profile pic, sci fi bio, etc)?

I'm sorry to bother you with this again, but it seems that the other author with the same pen name as me has succeeded somehow in taking down my biography information, and Goodreads will not let me edit it to put it back. This will definitely lead to confusion on the part of my readers, as I write clean science fiction stories, and the other Elle Rushing writes dirty romance.

Is there a way to get my profile information back under my control?

Ok, I think I figured it (somewhat) out... Not sure what took my bio and genre information down, might have been a glitch... but I think my author name (Which is Elle_ Rushing) cannot be changed to Elle Rushing (without the extra space) because that name is already taken in that format on Goodreads ??? I was able to edit everything but that. So perhaps it's intentional. Thankfully, I did get my bio back up. I'm going to be publishing a second book soon, so hopefully it will be properly attributed from Amazon, but i guess we'll see.

Hi! It may have been a glitch as, once an author claims a profile, it can only be modified from that author's account. Librarians can move books or quotes to a profile, but can't modify it, so any problems with your bio should be dealt through Support.

You can't claim the Elle Rushing (with only one space) profile because it's already been claimed by other author. But that profile acts as default profile, so if you had claimed it, you would have kept getting books by other authors with your same name in your profile.

If, when added to the data base, your new book ends in the other profile, just leave a message asking for the book to be moved to "Elle Rushing with two spaces", here or as a new post in this Book & Author Page Issues folder, and we'll move it to your profile.
