Intensia #intensiawords Hi Shayla :) If you enjoy poetic pop music, modern poetry or insta‑poetry, and you appreciate artists like Taylor, Ed, Lewis, Harry, Olivia or Billie, this compact and minimalist collection of lyric excerpts from pop songs‑in‑progress, WORDS TO THINK. OR TO SING., might be interesting for you. It has even won some awards :) It’s available on Kindle Unlimited, Ebook and Paperback. Happy reading! :)

N Condor I’ve just published the first 2 parts of a Kindle Unlimited series and I’m trying to figure out who this book is actually for. It’s post-collapse (no government, no recovery fantasy) and starts intimate rather than epic. The story follows a man who’s deeply uncomfortable with attachment, falling for a woman who is not what she appears to be. The early focus is psychological tension, mistrust, and emotional control, not action. As the series progresses it becomes heavier on politics, power structures, and survival, while the relationship itself starts to fracture under pressure. This is not a comfort romance and not fast-paced dystopia. It’s slow, tense, and character-driven. If you like things like: – dark slow-burns – morally uncomfortable relationships – post-collapse worlds without hope-porn – politics creeping in after intimacy I’d love to know if this sounds like your kind of read — or if it doesn’t, that’s useful too.

This was originally an AO3 fanfiction but after 950 pages I decided to try to make it work on its own. The first part is just 150-200 pages.

Rosa Liam Shayla wrote: "Looking for kindle unlimited recs! Literally anything 😊" I’m excited to share that my first eBook, Minimal Confessions, is now available to read online for free on Amazon for a short time!
It’s the kind of book you read in a single sitting, yet return to again and again. A companion for late nights, early mornings, and all the in‑between hours when the heart needs something simple, honest, and beautifully human.
If you feel drawn to minimal poetic writing , I’d love for you to be among the first to explore it.

Cole Seger Check out Resonance! Time travel dystopian thriller….with dinosaurs!

message 13: by Bri (new)

Bri Styles If you’re open to something emotionally intense and very character-driven, you might like my new book Monsieur Monster on KU

It follows a woman who slowly realizes she’s in a relationship that’s quietly unraveling her sense of self—and the story focuses just as much on her internal awakening and healing as it does the relationship itself.

It’s not fast-paced or trope-heavy, but it is very honest, reflective, and grounded in real emotional experience.

Richard Pidwell I keep getting drawn to stories where you’re not entirely sure what’s real as you’re reading, feels like a completely different experience to standard thrillers. Anyone found something like that lately?

M. Alexandra Nesci The Three Apples of Discord is a series of essays exploring the fractures of human identity and consciousness through the powerful symbolism of the apple. Here, the apple represents the biblical fruit of knowledge, carrying with it an inherent discord: a wisdom that, once acquired, shatters the harmony between humanity and the divine, placing them in a state of eternal tension and alterity.
The collection unfolds through three profound analyses:
Manifesto of Persephone: Discord between the sexes. An investigation into female submission and social structures from the Classical to the Victorian era, revealing the trauma of family roles caught between maternal sacrifice and paternal absence.
Narcissus, My Love: Discord of the consciousness. An inquiry into desire as the engine of the Self, from the physical to the virtual world, culminating in a reflection on Universal Consciousness as a redundant system revolving around the One.
Oedipus Amor Fati: Discord with time. An analysis of trauma divided into rejection, guilt, shame, and fear. This essay deconstructs the concept of prophecy through the logic of non-linear time, where the chronological order is inverted: the effect triggers the cause, rendering trauma an inevitable and retroactive mechanism.
