Great review! I personally won't be reading the book bc of certain content.... I wish there waas an edited version!
I honestly don't think it's worth reading, and I wasn't a fan of the content either!
interesting pov, i know there are a lot of different views that people had on this book, when i read it i liked it but it always depends on what the reader likes

I agree! Personally, I don't enjoy that kind of love interest (and I have more technical thoughts on why it failed in this story), nor do I support excessive language and gruesome violence treated flippantly. I've read so many other fantasy books that were better, and I think Powerless also failed on the execution.

if you liked Adena you should read the novella Powerful! it’s about her, and it’s rly sad but actually rly good compared to the rest of the series
This review is how I viewed the whole book lol but I didnt think the quotes were super cringey some of them were really sweet
