Michael F Simpson Frankenstein is still my No. 1 favourite book, and every time a review like this one pops up on my social media feeds, I'm reminded of why. There's so much depth and Shelley's writing is flawless. Both Frankenstein and his monster are tied for what I consider to be the most impressive fictional characters of all time. Maybe I'm due for a re-read of this one myself.

LTJ @Michael: Hell yeah! I completely agree, as this is a horror book masterpiece. LoL I believe it too, since I plan to re-read this at least once every year to two years :-)

Lisa - *OwlBeSatReading* I’ve never considered reading this, which is weird, because I love gothic horror. On reading your fabulous review, I’m gonna!! Great stuff!

LTJ @Lisa: Ah, I see. Thanks for the kind words on my book review, as that means a lot to hear!

Mariga Temple-West I have tried over the decades to get through this book and never managed it :/ Dracula, however, I love.

LTJ @Mariga: Understandable! It took me longer than usual to finish, because I had to constantly look up the meanings of words on almost every page. LoL but once I got through it, it was worth it, at least to me :-)

I also love Dracula!
