Looks interesting, but your registration system doesn't seem to have a way for an author to set a password so they can then log in to submit a book. Also, it could be helpful to specify what you are looking for as "high resolution" for the author photo (i.e. pixels/inch or pixel dimensions (width x height)).
Diane wrote: "I just registered and submitted - it took a while to figure out. They'll email you an assigned password once your registration goes through. Also, my headshot was too big and it kept telling me to add in all the info - but it wasn't telling me what was wrong - so there's a limit on file size..."Ah, good to know. Thanks! Looks like the photo was my problem, too.
Hi, I'm interested but I notice that you refer to "novels". Am I right to assume that you are only interested in reviewing novels as opposed to novellas or collections of short stories?
Celyn wrote: "Is anybody else who signed up suddenly getting email spammed with offers of (paid) review services?"No, not at all.
Thank you for the suggestions - we've updated the system to reflect the size requirements more accurately and apologize about the confusion. We do not distribute your registered email address to any third parties, and it is used only for login and registration.
As for the format - novellas work, and collections of short stories are fine as well. However, if there are a large number of short stories, it becomes difficult to provide one review and do justice to the entire work, so be aware of this.
Thank you for all the submissions thus far. Our reviewers are currently actively picking novels to review, and so some of you may see purchases in your accounts soon enough.
Thanks so much for the huge number of submissions guys. We're busily buying and reviewing your titles, and are loving the creative inflow. Keep it coming. :)
I’ve signed up and logged in, but I can’t find any way to submit a book. It tells me the details of submitting, but no actual submissions page or link. It just ends with a link for upgrading to a paid membership. Any advice?
It's not user friendly, but the submission link is there. I have submitted three books without upgrading.
Thank you all for the huge amount of submissions. We are always working through titles and looking for new passionate authors to submit their work. Keep them coming, thanks!

Readers who love emotional dystopian stories… I need you 👀Hi everyone! I’m an indie author looking for readers who might be interested in reviewing my novel, Fragmented Souls.
The story follows 18-year-old Harley Hudson, who is trying to survive in a brutal world decades after a global disaster wiped out millions. Life is already dangerous enough—until her younger brother is kidnapped by the regime’s Hunters.
Determined to save him, Harley sets out on a rescue mission with a small group of allies… but the deeper they go, the more they uncover secrets about the world—and about Harley herself—that could change everything.
If you enjoy books with:
✨ Strong, complex heroines
✨ Slow-burn romance
✨ Found family
✨ High-stakes survival
✨ Hidden abilities & dangerous secrets
…this might be a story you’ll enjoy.
I’m offering free copies in exchange for honest reviews. There’s absolutely no pressure—if it ends up not being your thing, that’s completely okay. Honest feedback always helps indie authors like me grow 🤍

Hello everyone,I’m Harsh Prakash, an Indian author and researcher. My debut literary fiction novel, No Call from Kanchenjunga: A Journey of Rejection, Reflection, and Finding Meaning, is now available on Amazon.
The story is inspired by journeys across Sikkim, Darjeeling, and the Eastern Himalayas and explores themes of rejection, non-violence, identity, culture, and the search for meaning.
If you enjoy reflective literary fiction, travel-inspired narratives, and thought-provoking conversations, I’d be grateful if you’d consider adding the book to your Goodreads shelf or checking it out.
I’d also love to connect with fellow readers and authors who enjoy literary fiction and books that explore philosophy, culture, and personal growth.
Thank you for your time.

We are a small group of editors who have joined together to provide authors fair, impartial, and constructive editorial reviews on their novels.
We love singular novels, and with books in series, prefer them in order. All our submissions and reviews are 100% free, and once reviewed, we post our reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads, along with a dedicated page on Editor's Weekly.
Our goal is to help great independent authors get some traction, and also get their novels reviewed without the exorbitant prices many other facilities charge.
Note that as we are a free platform, your submission will be entered into the queue and will be reviewed whenever one of our staff picks it. Due to the number of submissions we receive:
1) Improperly edited submissions/author profiles will result in the assumption that the same level of care was put into the novel, and therefore, is unlikely to be reviewed. So please make sure you fully complete your submission and author profile!
2) Contacting us regarding the status of your review is not permitted! We operate impartially and do not have preferential treatment.
3) Novels that demonstrate they do not have sufficient copyediting or polishing are likewise unlikely to be reviewed - we want work you, as an author, would be proud to hard-cover publish using your own money!
4) You will not receive notification about your novel once it is submitted. We will post reviews on all platforms, and whether it be a really good one or one that isn't as awesome as you'd prefer, we don't edit/remove them once completed.
5) We purchase all the novels ourselves, so there is no need for you to submit the manuscript to us.
6) Your novel must be listed on Amazon.
Finally, note that although all of us at EDW have been in literature for many years, this is a new offering. Accordingly, although we do have a number of novels in queue already through internal submissions, submissions sooner rather than later are more likely to be reviewed, as we anticipate the queue to swell up quickly based on our initial tests. We are also launching on social media platforms, so if you do get a chance to tell others about us and send us a PM here on Goodreads, we can attach that to your review submission so that reviewers are encouraged to reciprocate the goodwill.
Thank you!
