I've only read one Malfi, and it truly did nothing for me. Derivative, poorly paced, and with weird plotting decisions made throughout.
Oh yeah, the Door and the Chair bugged me a lot! So much noise about them, and what does it come to? Nothing, that's what.
If i got as far as 73% i
would just have to finish it…
wow... that's quite the distance to go before DNFing. I once DNFd a long ass book with only 22 pages to go because I just could not anymore. So I totally get it.

Believe me, I was kicking myself hard for not quitting it earlier than that. I'm still feeling sorry for myself that I wasted as much time on this one as I did.
