I tried to read this in the summer but I quit 1/4 through the book because it was just too complicated. The back and forth of letters just exhausted me. The plot seemed interesting though.
60% in really thinking about DNF it because of the poetic ramble that is every sentence. This books tries too hard to be something its not.
Where is the world building in the first pages? The only thing I can think about is how there is exactly 0 world building
World building is tough with a novella, but I think it’s possible because I’ve seen it with short stories even. I don’t think it was done very well. A lot of word vomit and trying to be different and “pick me.” It didn’t work for me
