Yes, a community college teacher who has toiled for years in small press obscurity bought off enough Pulitzer jurors to secure a finalist position. That is a perfectly plausible theory.

I also agree that it is pretty amazing that you actually read and respond to your reviews. I would love to better understand it - The purpose of the party dialogue specifically, and the reason as to why it sounded a bit like a play vs standard book dialogue. It’s possible it was too advant-garde for me - I’m not sure.
