Never heard of this author until I saw it on your page. Let me look him up
The set up and the characters sound very promising. Such a shame the execution made it feel like it didn’t reach its full potential. Never good when a story exhausts you. Good review, Kealyn.
Sorry the execution wasn’t as strong as the premise. I hope your next read is unputdownable! Brilliant review!🖤
I’m not always a fan when a story wraps up with too many loose ends either. Totally fair review Kealyn, I’m glad you somewhat enjoyed this, and hopefully you enjoy your next even more ❤️
Great review, Kealyn! I think this sounds like something I would love (in theory) and like you, end up finding it lacking. I am still curious though and if I stumble upon it, I will read it and compare notes! Thank you for your review, as always <3
Oh, My! You really have mixed feelings about this one, hon.
Nevertheless, you wrote a terrific review, Kealyn 😍
Excellent review, Kealyn. We don’t always enjoy every page of a book — we always want more, don’t we? Overall, it was a good read for you. 💕🌺
Great honest review, Kealyn! That genre blend of dystopian, scifi, and dark fantasy sounds fab and intriguing even if the pacing dragged a bit. Hope your next read will be much better 💫
Fantastic review, Kealyn! Sounds like this one had an intriguing premise that didn't quite live up to your expectations! I hope your next can be a bit more satisfying! Happy reading! 📚😊👍
Kealyn...Wonderful review. The uneven execution of the novel, seemingly stalled as times, sounds like it had great potential. Sorry the overall effect was a tad disappointing.🤗🤗
Very fair review. Glad you actually managed to finish the story and the ending was beautiful. Hope that your next story is more engaging.
Kealyn, this sounds so intriguing! I love the mix of dystopian, sci-fi and fantasy, especially with that eerie, dark atmosphere. Fabulous review! 💙😊
Wonderful honest review, Kealyn! 💙 Too bad the execution didn't allow the book to realise its complete potential. Sounds like it became a bit too ambitious.
I know what you mean about wondering whether or not to DNF, hence the three stars. Sometimes I feel like that when reading something that runs out of steam half way though. Honest review, Kealyn.
A great and honest review, Kealyn! I always find it interesting when a story manages to blend multiple genres. I’m glad you still found some things to enjoy, even if the execution didn’t quite live up to the premise. 🩶
This sounds so interesting, especially the eerie dystopian setup, but I completely understand what you mean about too many elements being introduced without enough payoff. I need a little more clarity too, especially when a story is already this complex. Great review! ❤️
