❤️ Fantastic review Kate!! Love the time period for this one, of course the dust bowl was a devastating time but very interesting too. I hear you about bleak stories that don't have enough uplifting moments woven in, I struggle with that too even though I do enjoy heavy reads. Hope you love your next read!! : )
