As a follow up - Apparently the author will be co-writing a book with Sheryl Sandberg about persistence. She wrote an over the top into to this book which made me wonder about her Harvard heritage, as in, she's got to be smarter than what she wrote here.

I'm not looking forward to the new book.

I have skepticism about the value of this book as well and question the general approach the author takes on any subject matter after reading another of his NYT op-eds where he conflates the concept of authenticity and not filtering your random thoughts (suspending basic candor). I find his logic a bit arbitrary.
