Oooohhh, I loved "The Secret Lives of Church Ladies", but had no idea this was coming out!!

I am not sure the writing is quite as elegant as Secret Life, but it is no less fun and no less of a takedown. Philyaw is really funny and observant, and she has a lot to say. There are a lot of epic one-liners as she mows down the hypocrisy of the evangelical megachurch structure, the powerless who attack others so they do not have to think about their own weakness, and the patriarchy in general.
