Wow, I read all of the Timeless books and they aren't nearly as good as anything Jodi writes. The only thing that seemed similar was the use of dirigibles. I'd give the Timeless series 2 stars and the St. Mary's 10 stars, if they would let me! St. Mary's has much more involved plot lines, sharper wit and more complex characters. I forced myself through the Timeless series because I was desperate for something new to listen to (Audible listener) while doing renovation work, and I had already read/listened to everything Jodi had written at least twice. Some of them three times. If you haven't read them yet, Check out the Frogmorton Farm series and the Elizabeth Cage books, You won't be disappointed.

And no, I co-opted the name "Max Maxwell" for public use, I am not affiliated in any way with the publisher or the author. I admire the character and relate to her temper and impulsiveness, God help me!
