I agree 100%! I've only written one book so far but it has been a huge success because of all the reading I did before writing. Starting on my second book now.
I really love this perspective. The connection between reading and writing is something many writers underestimate and the idea of poetry creating a space you want to remain in really stayed with me. I’m curious, has there been a poem or poet recently that unexpectedly changed the direction of something you were writing?
