Seems to me that they took issue with your superior vision of the lore interfering with anything they might struggle with gameplay-wise. Don't worry though, every Halo reader knows what's up and what the real Halo story is :)
I just finished reading The Fall of Reach for the third time. You're one of the best science fiction authors of all time in this generation. I have all your Halo books. I wish 343 would let you write another one.
