Great answer Colleen
I agree with Colleen. Atlas was honestly a great character and man. I'm glad they met again. I want to see more of their relationship develop, honestly. <3
I liked Atlas very much. He's the right man for Lily. Hope you will do a follow book on Lily and Atlas. Such a remarkable book you have written. All your books are remarkable. Such talent you have.! Keep writing! Hope you could do 2 books a year. You have many admirers. You are amazing Colleen. Linda/Vancouver/Langley/BC/Canada
I didnt hate atlas but i wasnt team ryle , i feel its wrong to be team ryle bc even though liky wasn't my fav character she shouldn't have to go through that but i was a little confused on the whos fault the stair situation bc (and i dont rlly blame anyone bc we all do things in the moment) if one of your thoughts is hes gonna hurt me why run after him if that was a possibility to me it would be obvious ryle was going to run just like ussaual so that was a tough one for me so i wrote a review before but then i reread and changed my mind but i likes collens response
Such a silly comment. This book should be read by every woman. I bought all my friends this book for Christmas. I lived with violence with my mother and step-father. It took my mother 30 years before she did something positive by leaving him. Atlas is a wonderful man and I don't understand why you "hate" him. Please pay attention to what you missed in the book. Please re-read and you will understand it better. Linda/Vancouver/BC/Canada
But honestly i can feel everyone reading the book wanted ryle and lily to have a happy ending where ryle fixed his behavior and lily was able to move on from atlas (she says it several times that she isn't able to un-love atlas) and the couple raise their daughter together as one happy family.
I watched the movie and I really liked the movie till the last 15-20 min. I don't really feel divorce is the option for issues. Lily could have sat with Ryle and discussed with him about his actions. Instead she just chose to divorce him. I see her pain going the trauma in his childhood. But divorce is the last option in a relationship. But she took it as her first option. If everyone does that, we wont see any couple being in relationship more than 2-3 years. In a relationship, both people should try to overcome their issues. There is no perfect man or woman in this world. Well, that's my thought and that's why I did not like the ending. I am just expressing my thoughts, did not mean to offend your thoughts. But I must say, the romance between them is really great. Its a simple and clean story (except the ending) :)
