Kalen Delaney On rereading my question, I think it could be interpreted as saying AofT wasn't 'good' enough... nothing could be further from the truth! It was so good, that I read it way too fast and then it was done. And then there was no more. And I really appreciated revisiting friends from previous Pen and Des stories.

Anna Persdotter That’s how I feel every time! I just finished listening to Masquerade in Lodi and now I’m sad because it’s over. I recently got a hold of an old copy of The spirit ring but I’m hesitating to read it because after I do I’ve got nothing left! (Of Bujolds work that is. I’ve got plenty of other books to read. I just don’t want to!) 😉

Kalen Delaney Anna, have you read the Sharing Knife series? I had a big treat a couple of years ago... I was rereading the series, for lack of any new Bujold (or so I thought) and when I got to the end of the third book, I realized I had no idea what happened next. Then when I started 're' reading the fourth one, I realized I had never read it before! It was a whole new book, totally unexpected. (I must have bought it at the same time as others, so I lost track of it.) I wish things like that would happen more often. ;-)

Anna Persdotter I’ve read everything of hets except The spirit ring. I’m just about to reread the vorkosigan books now. I’ve only listens to them before and now I’ve collected the whole series and looking forward to reading them as well!

Kalen Delaney I think Spirit Ring is the only one I haven't REread... and I read it long ago so I barely remember it. So maybe I'll read that again and it will be like a new book.

Lucie Zeale I recently reread all the 5 gods books because I came across a YouTube video about Caz and realised I couldn't remember anything about the plot! It was wonderful to pick it all back up again!

Vivaine One of the many reasons Lois is my absolute favorite author is that her books are so easy to re-read without becoming boring or repetitive. I seem to find something new every time I read - actually I listen to the audio versions because a) failing eyesight and shrinking font sizes are making reading difficult, and b) the narration is just as good as the stories.
