S. Daisy Hello. I would love to review your books. Usually an author will mail me a copy of the book, and then I read it and post my review on as many platforms as I can. I usually do not review ebooks. Being an editor involves me staring at screens too much as it is, haha. Feel free to message me for the address to send them to if you are interested. Thank you, and God bless. :-)

James Bonk Hey Daisy, hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

I don't have any author copies handy, BUT we could do this two ways, please let me know your preference:

1) I could get your preferred address and try to send you a copy of each book via author copies in KDP
OR
2) (this is my preferred option) I could reimburse you if you go buy the two paperbacks from Amazon. This might be faster since they are prime PLUS your review would be a verified purchase as well! Happy to do Venmo or Paypal (should be about $23-24 pending tax) for the reimbursement, if this option suits you.

I have two books out currently and only on Amazon and Goodreads. So reviews of each on both platforms would be AMAZING!!!

Thank you for considering, and God bless!

S. Daisy I would be happy to do option #2, if you would be willing to send me an Amazon gift card that I could purchase the books with. My email address is hillsideherbs[at]juno[dot]com. I'd gladly post reviews on both platforms, as well as LibraryThing and BookBub if your books are on those sites as well. God bless you too, and thank you! I look forward to reading your books.

James Bonk Hey Daisey, just sent a gift card for $25, that should cover both paperbacks. Also, I just added the books to my shelf on LibraryThing and working to get it verified on BookBub! Good call on those sites. Thank you!

S. Daisy Hello. Thank you, I just put in my order. I should have the books by December 8. I'm looking forward to reading/reviewing them for you.

Daisy

S. Daisy I received the books early, and started on the first immediately. Liking it pretty well so far. I'm up to Chapter 5. I am seeing some problems with the editing, though. I'll write down some of the biggest problems I spot and send some of them to you when I'm done. It's common to have these issues when you only hire a proofreader, who takes care of spelling and punctuation, but not much else.

James Bonk Thank you, Daisy. Appreciate you taking the time to write those down. Feel free to post them here or email me directly at jamesbonkwrites[at]gmail[dot]com. I usually check my email more often than goodreads.

S. Daisy Will do, sir. Have a great week. When I email you, would you like me to send you my CV, with details and rates of the services I offer? I don't want to bother you with it if you aren't interested.

message 9: by James (new)

James Bonk Yes, please do include the CV and rates. I do like my editor now (but do to my own low budget I use her mostly for proofing). Regardless, it’d be great to have a backup. It’s hard to find one who you trust. Thank you (and great job on marketing through goodreads!!!).

S. Daisy Okay, will do! I'm currently nearing completion of your prequel. Thanks! This is actually a bad time of the year for editors. Everybody is doing their holiday shopping, and unfortunately nobody thinks to buy anybody else some editing for Christmas, haha. ;-)

Best regards,

Daisy

S. Daisy Hello,
I just finished the prequel, posted my review, and sent you my list of corrections. Thank you for the reviewing opportunity.

S. Daisy
