They would make an interesting couple though I am not sure they would be a happy one. Caroline Bingley would get really ticked off by his spendtrift ways. Jane certainly could had some great comic scenes with the two together.
Yes, I do address his overspending. And Caroline has a large fortune, which would help with the money problems.
