I do the same percolate an idea.
I like fantasy because we can make up our own rules, but science fiction is fun because of the research and the interesting things we learn.

Any hits as to what the story is about or is it a secret for now?

At the moment... it's a bit of a secret. I just actually had some real breakthroughs with it today. :) I think I'm going to wait until NaNoWriMo to write it... so it'll be the fall before I dive in.
Unless I can't wait that long... :)
