I was going to suggest that you look at the "Swarm Cycle" Universe started by Thinking Horndog on Storiesonline.net. I had read many of the stories several years back and thought little new had been added to it.
But when I looked at it just now I found that over 300 related stories on site. I guess its been done to death.
So "never mind".
As for expectations, i have none. you seem to do very well on you own.
